Sandy Ho grew up in the western suburbs of Sydney Australia and spent most of her time in the kitchen with her mum perfecting her Vietnamese culinary skills. Widely travelling at a young age, she found a great love for food from all over the world and has a ‘try anything once’ attitude. After finishing a BA in Fine Arts, Sandy relocated to Melbourne where she realised her hobby in the kitchen became a real life dream career and left the artist life to learn about food. She headed the kitchen team at Non for Profit bar Shebeen where her flair for menu and recipe planning also led her to move into private catering for many large and small scale events in the Melbourne area. Her interest lies in the use and care of local and sustainable produce which has given her the opportunity to travel, meet and collaborate with the makers of our food. Sandy joins The Sailing Collective with an agenda to spark positive sharing of flavour and food all around the world.

Our "Collective Package" includes: lodging aboard for 7 nights, captain, chef, 6 breakfasts, 6 lunches, 3 dinners, and all boat fees.
You can expect to sail 2-6 hours every day, while reserving the rest of the time for swimming, fishing, relaxing, exploring on land, and definitely eating. Sailing Collective captains are incredibly knowledgeable and they'll help you plan and experience the best vacation possible - it's like having a personal concierge with you on your trip. Your crew will organize outings or point you in the right direction of markets, sites, and restaurants if you'd rather explore on your own.
Private journeys rates are based on the number of double-occupancy cabins and generally run between $1,800-$3,500 per person for a double occupancy cabin depending on the location, boat selected, and optional add-ons. So for example, with a group of 6 the range would be $10,800 - $18,000 +. Groups of 4-8 tend to be the most cost effective, but we can accommodate as few as 2 or as many as 10 guests per boat (pricing per person is typically higher the smaller the group). This is just to give you an idea and we'll put together a more refined quote for your group once we know a bit more about what you are looking for.
In order to assemble your custom quote and private page, we'll need a bit more information from you:
• Which week are interested in traveling?
• How many people are in your group?
• Do you have a preference of Catamaran or Monohull boat?
• Any other key information that you deem important!
Luxury addition - The Hanse 54 was until recently the standard bearer of the German Hanse Yachts shipyard. It is a very elegant sailing boat with a flat and clear deck that provides a lot of space to lie down and relax in the sun. The cockpit is spacious and has a transom that folds and turns into a magnificent swim platform. The interiors, as in other models of the brand, are excellently finished, spacious, and practical. Comes with 4-double cabins and can accommodate up to 8 guests.
Designed by Judel/Vrolijk & Co, the 575 breaks new design ground for Hanse in several interesting ways. The boat’s topsides are as high off the water as any boat in the size range with square, tinted hull ports that both admit a lot of light to the interior and break up the expansiveness of the hull. The bow and stern are nearly plumb and the cabin top lies very low to the side decks; there is plenty of headroom inside due to the high topside.
Four double cabins 8 pax and three double cabins with owners suite both available.
On board the Oceanis 45, harmony reigns supreme: everything is in its place on this beautiful yacht, a chart table that is also a living room table, a bilge increasing overall comfort, an open bathing platform making access to the sea easier. Comfort is built in.
Understated luxury: design, space and seamlessly integrated functionality, beauty of the wood, and soft colors. The mineral architecture, with elegant taut lines of the 2 and 3-cabin versions is an invitation to quiet relaxation. The Family versions surprise with their level of comfort, and make no concessions to either space or functionality.
One of Sailing Collective's favorite monohulls, the 53 built by Jeanneau, is perfect for larger groups and families, looking for a combination of sailing performance and comfort. Above and below deck, her layout allows for plenty of room for socializing, but also offers practicality and performance where required. Headroom: Entry to Cabins: 6' 1" Galley and Cabins: 6' 5" Headroom at helm: 6' 6" The Jeanneau 53 is a pleasure to sail and is responsive to touch, her electric winches and bow thrusters make her surprisingly easy to handle.
The Jeanneau 57 is not only beautiful, but functional, and comfortable. Every detail has been conceived to offer the highest quality cruising experience. She is a pleasure to sail and is responsive to touch, her electric winches and bow thrusters make her surprisingly easy to handle. The deck is quite livable with dedicated spaces for relaxation while the contemporary interior reflects a long nautical heritage
A symbol of the new generation. With its sleek design and luxurious features, the Lagoon 40 is a good sailing comfortable catamaran that will be your home at sea.
The Lagoon 450 has everything you could want in a cruising boat: Incredible performance under sail, wide open deck space for lounging, and an incomparable comfort in the saloon and the cabins. The wide hulls of Lagoon 450 offer comfortable cabins with larger floor space than other catamarans of the size. An airy saloon contains an open concept modern galley (kitchen) and comfortable seating all with stunning panoramic visibility of the natural beauty that you came for. The aft deck is covered by a hard top bimini so that there is always plenty of breezy shaded space for lounging when you are taking a break from the sun drenched foredeck. Up front the netted "trampoline" between the hulls is the ultimate place to enjoy this boat under sail with the sun beaming down and the water rushing below you.
