CANCELLATION POLICY
If you decide to cancel your trip, the following fees apply and are due to Sailing Collective at the time (prior to departure) we receive written notice of your cancellation.

120 or more days: 10% of trip cost (90% refund)

90 - 119 days: 50% of trip cost (50% refund)

0 - 89 days: 100% of trip cost (no refunds)
CHANGE POLICY
If you wish to *change* your scheduled journey to a different journey, you can do so if that journey has available openings. You will be responsible for any price difference in the journeys. In addition, the following change fees apply and are due to Sailing Collective at the time (prior to departure) we receive written notice of your change request.

TRAVEL INSURANCE
We recommend taking out additional travel insurance through Travel Guard as additional protection for changes and cancellations. In the unlikely event that you must use your travel insurance, we are fully willing to comply with your request for any documentation or information the insurance company needs.
DISCLAIMER & LIABILITY
All customer participants must agree to indemnify and hold the Sailing Collective, its insurers, affiliates and captains harmless for any injury or death arising from swimming, windsurfing, kayaking, or the use of dinghies, snorkels, masks, scuba equipment, or other equipment, the use of drugs, consumption of alcohol, unauthorized motoring, sailing or motoring in areas designated as hazardous by the Sailing Collective. The Sailing Collective LLP and its member captains and crew are not held accountable for any injury caused by malfunction of a vessel that is not owned and maintained by the Sailing Collective. In the case of an injury, the passenger remains responsible for the negligent acts that may result in harming the passenger and fellow crew.
BEHAVIOR & CONDUCT
The Sailing Collective member captain has the right to suspend the activity and participation of a client on any Sailing Collective trip if behavior is erratic, unsafe, belligerent, or defiant of captain's’ commands and orders. Client will not be refunded and will be responsible for any and all extra financial costs if they are required to disembark before the end of the trip. Erratic and unsafe behaviors includes but is not limited to excessive drinking of alcohol, unsafe practices aboard, damaging the boat, wilful defiance of the captain and their commands (in regards to safety), sexual harassment, physical and verbal violence, and so on. It is the right of the captain to judge erratic behavior has they deem fit for the situation.
MISCELLANEOUS
Passengers who wish to not be photographed must inform the Sailing Collective in advance. Photographs may be used for Sailing Collective purposes for website and other marketing operations. The Sailing Collective is not responsible for internet circulation of images via social media or other outlets outside the photo content on the website.
