Your health and safety is our top concern
As you can imagine, COVID-19 (Coronavirus) is a factor that we are all paying close attention to. Here at Sailing Collective, we closely monitor travel advisories in all the locations we sail. Our commitment to safety starts well before we ever set foot on a sailing vessel; it is the first thing we think about when planning a voyage.
For those interested in planning future travel beyond August 15th, we have additional flexibility including an updated cancelation policy and the ability to reserve certain trips with smaller and more flexible deposits.
Flexible Options For New Bookings:
Reduced Deposit: Upon request, we can arrange for a reduction to 30% deposits for bookings in 2020.
Added Flexibility: We will hold the option to reschedule your trip at no cost if travel continues to be restricted.
Flexible Options For Previously Booked Voyages:
Keep booking as is: Great, we'll see you on the water! If anything changes, we will contact you to move forward with one of the two options listed below.
Reschedule in 2020: We will work with you to find new dates for your trip.
Reschedule in 2021: We may be able to rebook you into 2021 in some circumstances, please contact us if this is the best option for you and we can discuss your options.

You may postpone a trip for another departure date at no cost under any of the following circumstances:*
*Upon special request we may be able to reschedule to any date within a 12 month period (into 2021) please contact us if you have a trip booked and would like to reschedule premptively as a precaustion.
Trips that are rescheduled by Sailing Collective on the above terms will have no addtional Fees. If you opt to reschedule outside of our policy for postponing trips applicable change fees will apply.
Payment of balance:
Remaining payments will be collected in accordance with the new departure dates. Generally final balances are due 90 days before departure.
Origin or Destination closed:
If travel to your trip is restricted in the period 45 days before your dpearture date you will be offered the opportuity to reschedule at no cost as per our policy.
We recommend taking out additional travel insurance through Global Rescue as additional protection for changes and cancellations. In the unlikely event that you must use your travel insurance, we are fully willing to comply with your request for any documentation or information the insurance company needs.
What if this continues:
We will continue to reevaluate the situation on a daily basis and make decisions as neccessary.

**Our cancelation policy depends exclusively on our partners and yacht owners and we continue to work with them and take action accordingly with our future trips and new bookings. As we only have your health and safety in mind, we certainly don't want your trip to cause any additional stress.
